Colorado Campgrounds

We live in Denver and for the past few years we have been visiting the same campgrounds. We usually go to Tiger Run in Breckenridge or up to Estes Park. We are looking for some other nice campgrounds that are 2 to 3 hours from Denver. Thanks for your help in advance.

I'm not sure what you're looking for in a campground but surely you have stayed in the Colorado Springs area haven't you? There are a lot of campgrounds in that area and plenty of things to see and do.

Colorado Campgrounds

Wolf Creek Run in Pagosa Springs. They only allow class A coaches. Might be a tad further but worth the drive.

Don't think you're going to find anything quite like Tiger Run any where else in CO or for that matter within a few states. Las Vegas Motor Coach RV Resort might be the closest. I would not classify any campground with full hook-ups in the Colorado Springs area as an RV resort. We stay at Spruce Lake Campground in Estes but it's not TR category. Of course there must be some out there we don't know about but we have stayed at quite a few throughout CO. A couple hour drive is also limiting but you'll find some. JMO
