Cracked windshield

My 2008 Berkshire class A has a two part windshield and one is cracked. Can I replace it with a single windshield?

Not certain, but I was told by somebody that the one piece WS on my 2011, would cost $4000 to replace if I ever broke it. You may want to check on that.

Boowho??

I also have a 2011 Berkshire. Received an estimate today...~$3k to replace single windshield. Click image for larger version

Of course if you have full coverage insurance on your unit only the deductible comes out of your pocket. Had my one piece on my 378TS replaced this year due to 2 rock hits on one trip. Glad I had insurance. Yeah, they're expensive.

I have the two piece windshield. Seams fine to me. What would be the advantage of a one piece windshield other than looks?

Am I missing something???
