Anybody replace the thermostatic switch on the dash ac. Itís located on the Evans tempcon black housing right above the generator. Iíve got a replacement but my question is how is the capillary tube removed and the new one installed Do you just pull the old one out and insert the new one to the same depth?
Is the original held in place by any clips or other retention features?

Found out for myself. As I suspected. Just yank it out and poke the new one in the same depth and orientation.
