Decided on a date to pick up the 2016 Berk 38A
I have been chomping at the bit to get it. At least now the date is SET
We are thinking April 4th will be the pick up date at Terry Town in Grand Rapids. The plan then would be to camp Mon thru Sat at Hidden Ridge RV Resort to test it out and shake it down. Close enough to get anything fixed that goes wrong. Both the DW and I can and will work from the Campground. Anyone know if Hidden Ridge has a good reliable WiFi system?
Still have the 2014 SunSeeker 3010DS for sale (see the classified for your friends) Getting a few nibbles. Keeping fingers crossed on the last couple.
Nothing short of a Blizzard will keep me from this date!!
Look forward to seeing you guys out on the trail.

Congrats. We will miss you at HR. We will not be there until around the 15th. The Wifi at HR is ok especially at that time. The park will be empty for the most part unless the weather is warm. Doubtful for Michigan early April. They just upgraded the system last year.
I do suggest bringing a couple of electric space heaters with you if are driving. It will get cold there as you know being from GB. If you don't have one or are flying into GR I have one in my shed on lot 181. You are welcome to use it. The shed is not locked.
Have a great time and enjoy the new Berkshire.

Congratulations on the 38A. We got ours last October and love it. Only a couple issues. The led lights. Have had to replace 7 so far. The fridge has quit twice. The hot water heater recall. Other than that it is everything we hoped it would be.

jpcamper,
Here is the recall info. According to the build dates of the affected units, our 2016 seems to have missed the cut-off dates. What year is yours?
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain model year 2012-2016 Berkshire, Charleston, Legacy, Dynamax, XLR, Continental Cargo, Work & Play, Shockwave, and Coachmen Brookstone recreational vehicles and toy haulers, equipped with Atwood on demand water heaters, models OD45, OD50, and OD50CW, manufactured January 2, 2012, to August 13, 2015. The affected water heaters have a water and gas valve that may cause the water heater to overheat the water in the hot water supply tap. The overheating of the water may result in the release of steam, possibly causing the operator is to scald themselves and increasing the risk of injury. Forest River will notify owners. The remedy for this recall is still under development. The recall began on December 17, 2015. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-800-348-7440, or Atwood customer service at 1-574-264-2131. Forest River's number for this recall is 51-11092015-0107.
