There is a free app I use called "My Pilot" that tells you fuel prices, DEF prices, if there's a sewage hook-up etc. there is even a trip planner so you can plan where you are going to fill up.Click image for larger version

I have the My Pilot app too but prefer Trucker Tools. To each their own.

Sent from my SCH-I535 using Forest River Forums mobile app

I carry a 5 gallon kerosene container (blue colored) and pump into it at Pilot or Flying J between trips in the MH. I have a 1 gal bottle I use for transfering to the def tank.
Duhh! What a dummy I am! I just bought a box from my local parts house and spent $14.00 for it. That's $5.60 a gallon! I won't do that again!

A couple of notes...

Shelf life for DEF is about one year.

Store it out of sunlight.

If you need to get rid of some, mix it with some water and use it on your grass.

Yikes!! You must have a different setup than on my 2011 390RB. I usually wind up with half of it on the ground if I use the containers.

I do the pull-into-the-pump-backwards-thing and have never had a problem getting blocked in.

If I ever did, I'd just drop the toad and back out. NO sensible 18 wheeler driver would even think of blocking you in, though.

And X2 on the pilot cad. Would NOT leave home without it (regards's to Karl Malden).

Boowho??

It had shelf life of one year minimum. It will last much longer than that. Mine will freeze in the tank with no issues so far.
