We stayed north of there at the Thousand Trails St. Clair location. It was decently commutable into the city for the Henry Ford museum and to go over to Ann Arbor.
Not a bad place, but avoid their 50amp pull throughs. Snug and crappy. Right off of the highway so when you're outside, you hear it.

We're on our way there for a family emergency. Looks like few RV parks in the area. We will probably stay at Wayne County Fairgrounds which would be an easy drive to Comerica Park for you and has full hook ups.
Pontiac SP, is really nice but elect only, sterling SP is 1 hr away and super nice full hook. Even thoe we live 1.5hrs away I don't tow down 75 or anywhere near detroit, the roads are crappy, the drivers will not let you move lane to lane, and traffic is horrible
