Diesel Air compressor

Can anyone tell me if I can use the diesel engine air compressor to winterize the water lines ? Is the air clean enough or do I have to add a filter/regulator ?

Definitely, connect a pressure regulator and a water separator and you're good to go.

It is advised to use an oil-less air compressor, so you do not contaminate your water system, they sell small filters you can put on the air line help with this.
Having said that I used a compressor with oil for years before I knew better with out an issue. But always use a air regulator to get pressure below 40 -50psi.
