DIY project

I was getting tired of having to move my hose from the city water, fresh water and black tank wash. So I found some short white hoses at Camping World and with three 90's and two 2 way Y valves I made an additional water manifold. Now I just have to hook up one hose and by manipulating a few valves I can fill the fresh water tank, be connected to city water and flush out my black tank. It was easy and cost less than $20.

That is a neat idea although I would highly recommend installing a good anti siphoning or anti back flow check valve in the hose going to the tank flush. I seem to remember being cautioned not to use a potable water hose for the tank flush.

I suggest you put a spring loaded check valve on the black tank flush hose.

Yes, times 3. You need another check valve between the fresh water manifold and the tank flushers. Make sure it is installed in the correct direction.

I like it although I am a bit worried about the tank flush also. I usually use a old hose for that job. I found some good quick disconnects at Lowe's that make things much easier but spent more than 20 bucks.
Looks like Herk has a fix and cheap also.

Yes that was me Lloyd. Where you heading out camping? Nice looking rig if I haven't told you lately! Are you and Karen planning to go to the St.Augustine FROG rally? Dianna and I where looking at the schedule and are thinking about trying to make it.
Sorry to hi jack.
