I carry 1 of those 50'ish assorted tool kits, several different kinds of pliers and screwdrivers, some handfuls of screws, bearings/seals/grease, some of the normal stuff. Maybe 20 lbs total. If I need something specific, there is a hardware store usually not far away that might have what I need.

We've had our 2012 model for 4 years and there is still some empty cabinets inside. If we don't use it, we don't take it.

Of course, if we traveled more and were on the road more, we might have a reason to accumulate more "stuff".

One I consider invaluable is a LED light mounted on a headband. Allows you to keep two hands on the job. Have you ever tried tackling a job at night in the pouring rain while swatting mosquitos and holding a flashlight under your arm?

I have scaled back on what I haul... but now I see why one guy posted a good while back "Everyone who RVs carries 1000 lbs. of tools in the truck." At the age of 68, I don't ever plan on doing a full engine overhaul in the bar ditch. I doubt if I'll pull and replace the water heater in my trailer in a campground. My trip prep checklist now includes the category
DECIDE- Take or Donít Take
because it seems like we just keep accumulating more stuff we don't/seldom use. I am adopting Timex's philosophy.

One probable with Timex's philosophy,,,
If you are camping in a MH with no Toad,,,
That means you have to brake camp to go to that Hardware store !!!
That is why I need my DWs help lifting my tool bag !!!
