Planning on going to Grand Haven, Bay City, Traverse City and Cedarville and arcoss to and down thru WI about a week in each. The back wall is pretty solid, just used short screws so wouldn't hit anything important.

My cabinet opening is only about 8.5" wide so I don't know if I will be able to get my fat a** into the cabinet to mount the slide rails or a mounting board in the rear of the cabinet. There is a drawer above the cabinet door that has the slide brackets mounted to a board in the rear. Because of the cabinet width, we were hoping to find maybe a wire rack or something with sliding drawers that was pre-assembled that would fit into the cabinet and not require installation of the slide rails. Not sure what to do.

It's a long reach for our 8.5 cabinet, but managed to get it in. (second picture) but great for storage once it's in. A long screw driver really helps.

thanks for making more work for me! Now my wife is looking for me to do the mod(LOL!) I didn't realize it was 2 different cabinets. I just thought it was pictures of the same cabinet just from a different angle. What width drawer did you wind up getting, what was the opening and where did you get the drawers?

You will enjoy that trip. Tc is great. When do you plan to be there. We will be at Traverse Bay Aug-mid Sept.
I just ordered shelves for the cupboard under the sink. I could get one 13" wide with a small shelve above it. What will we do with all the room?

Tmmar, the shelfs are 8.5 wide, 28" long, top one is 3" high, bottom one is 4.5 " high. Cabinet opening is 9.5 wide and cabinet depth is 29 1/4" sorry about the extra work, but like the extra storage.

We did a different take with the narrow cabinet. We've found it difficult to deal with the lack of a clear location for a good size garbage can. I installed a pull out one in that cabinet.

I mad a set for the cupboard next to the stove and under the curio cupboard. Material from home depot. Also upgrade pantry this year. Gives us a lot more room

We have a trash can in there also has it is the perfect size. I need to try to find one of those slide outs for it like yours.

As well as cost effective it gives me something to do up here in the frozen north while waiting for spring. Worst part is waiting for spring to do the install. This year was a long wait.

Nice job. I think that I will need to fabricate the drawers myself also since the opening of cabinet I want to put them in is only 8.5" wide.
On the other hand, where in the north are you? Maybe you can build them for me!! (LOL!!)

Tom these guys make them as narrow as 6". I ordered four shelves from them.
The do custom work and I thought fairly reasonable. My table saw and all my tools are in storage. So this was my best option.

Just completed
I just completed this small shelf in my entertainment cupboard. Helps to use the space more efficiently. Almost done with the winter projects install. Last one is an outside AC outlet for under the awning.

Well I got the shelves in. They of coarse weren't as easy to install as I thought. But with some left over parts and reengineering I got them to work. Not as happy with the company as I could be. The slides for the top shelf were to short. They let me know that the longer ones would take two weeks and cost more. Whatever I did the fix it works.
