Usually means you don't have power. Are you on generator? If so check the breaker on the gen itself.

No problem, it happened to me on my last trip out. That's how I knew what it could be.

I installed a separate breaker panel so every thing is on the inverter except the AC, W/D, and Heat pump. So I'm working on killing the frig def heater it draws 45 amps when its on it does a number on my batteries.

I know that this error will display if ac is on while using generator and if for some reason the Genet fails of is turned off. Will go away once generator is turned back on. Best to remove load from Genet before restarting.

Back in the wage earning days, we use to have a saying when stuck with a problem: RTFM - Read The Fine Manual. (Other substitute words usually, however.)

I have a 2015 Charleston, and I have been PLAGUED with the "E7" error on the Dometic A/Cs for over a year now. I think I've finally got the reason this error is occurring figured out. When you switch from shore power to generator (or reverse), the power drops out for a fraction of a second - A/C units do not like that... It causes the compressors to draw lots of power and blow the circuit breakers. I have started turning off the A/Cs when I start to get ready to set up (or break) camp. I turn off the A/Cs at the thermostat, Plug into shore power, stop the generator, and then turn the A/Cs back on after a 10 minute or so rest. I'm now 2 weeks in to our trip, and have not had a single E7 error, since using this method! I would think that Dometic would allow for power dropouts in the design of their units, but I guess not...
Best of luck, and stay cool!
Carl
