We replaced both seats and bought them at Brad and Hall in Elkhart Ind. I can't say enough about how great they are both the seats and Brad.

Had ours recovered and a little extra padding put in. $850 for both seats.

Hey Phil
I remember from the rally.ohhhh thank you you so much for your response.
You showed them to to us, thank you I even sat in one... Now I remember. How do I make plans to meet order etc when we go out to the rally.
We need to buy one of these.
Looking forward to seeing you both there! Thanks for your help.

Local upholstery shop that does cars. Might be a bit of drive, in Pueblo CO. We got rid of the faux leather and had a nice fabric put on.

I agree with Phil, as I replaced both front seats this spring from Bradd and Hall. Check their website for selection, they sell Flexsteel. They do require the order to be called in, you speak to an actual person when placing your order. Since your MH was probably originally equipped with Flexsteel, they bolt in without major modification, however the adjuster controls do require the cutouts be made in the new fabric. Bradd and Hall shipped my seats directly to my house, just had to be there when they arrived. When I called in the order, it seemed that if I had problems with the replacement, (for me it was rather easy) they would be happy to help. Probably will be calling next year for sofa replacements.

Hi Pat!! Maria here. We also purchased new furniture from Bradd and Hall. Love the new couch and chair. Every one there is so friendly and the customer service is excellent. Do check out their website. Pick out what you want, the fabric and give them a call. It takes about 5-6 weeks for the furniture to come in. I think Bill wants new captains chairs, so we may be calling them before the rally next year so they would be ready for us to pick up. Good luck.

We also had our two front seats in our 08 replaced with vastly upgraded versions at Bradd and Hall. Had a power foot rest for the Passenger and the new seats are more comfortable, larger and much better upholstery. Great shop to deal with.
GOOD LUCK

This is the captains chair we went with. I don't remember the name hope the picture helps.
They are very comfortable and a major upgrade from the stock seats. The armrests are adjustable. A small thing but a nice feature.

These are the replacement seats we had installed. The drivers pedestal remained but the cabling and controls for the seat were replaced. The passenger seat has a power footrest so it has its own pedestal and the power cable is right under the rug behind the seat. Rather than power it from the drivers it is better to use the dedicated cable under the passenger seat as it has its own fuse in the outside compartment under the driver. I'm a rather full sized guy and these seats are so much more comfortable than the original.
Drivers seat Model A443 BUSR (36.5”H x 31”W x 30”D)
Passenger seat: Model A443 ERST (36”H x 26”W x 29”D).
Color: Wheat G4-03
GOOD LUCK

Drivers seat. Looking to purchase/ replace for our 2008 Berkshire 2008

My Wife and I also purchased a 2008 Berkshire used last fall at the end of season. Both front seats were in terrible shape and material separating for only having 30K on the odometer (Having owned full leather seating in all our autos we noticed the difference immediately - and I have had original seats last me 250K and still look new) I was told this is called "pleather" in the RV industry and is the norm. I searched for a true leather RV seat including Flexsteel and popular manufacturer's. In the end I was advised by our camping dealer that no one makes a true leather captains chair.

Over the winter we chose to have our local upholster recover the original Flexsteel seats in leather, extend the base 3" and customize the lumbar and base foam for us. It took 3 hides totalling $900.00 in material, but on a long trip I wouldn't trade them now for anything!

Its a shame RV manufacturers don't at least offer quality products for those of us that chose longevity and durability over a short term solution.

Randy 2008 was not a great year for Berkshire seats. There was a issue with the material used and several people reported that the fabric failed. I believe it was only 08 &09 affected.

Hi all, just wanted to say I agree with most of the posts. I purchased my 2008 used with about 35,000 miles on it and I have almost 50,000 on it now. It has the original seats, no footrest for the passenger, and we find after a couple of hours of driving your butt gets numb because the seats are a little to firm and the adjustments are limited. I will be upgrading to better seats from Bradd and Hall as soon as the funds are available, lol.

Thanks everyone.... For the great suggestions and the picture Phil.
I called Bradd and Hall and they are sending me some color samples to pick from along with the catalog. I even found the catalog # that you have Phil with the adjustable arms. I want to order now so we can pick up when we go to the rally. Thanks for the help

Pat I can't wait to see it. We head to Goshen Tuesday for a FMCA rally. It will be fun but not like the FROGs.
