Dryer vent

Anyone with a factory installed stacked washer/ dryer in a 390rb (dryer vent between kitchen slide and wardrobe slide) have a very annoying rattle coming from the flapper valve on the vent? Anyone got a solution?

I don't think my dryer vent has a movable part in it.

On the outside of your coach, the dryer vent flap has a little lever that allows you to lock the vent closed.... That vent has a flap that will "flap" open and closed at times making some noise...

I have no such lock on my flap. Even if I did I'd have to drag out a ladder everytime to lock or unlock it. It's about 9 ft off the ground.

What model Berkshire do those with a lock on the flap have?

Dan,

I think you have a 390RB. Where is your dryer vent located?

It's about two-thirds of the way back on the passenger side just behind the kitchen slide. The dealer added them on after I bought it. The vent looks like the picture below. Seems it does have a bug flap inside of it.

Yep.... That's what mine looks like and it has a small lever that latches that bug flap down

On one of my coaches we had that issue. We just stuffed a wash cloth up into it while on the road.

Yep that's pretty much the same as mine. No latch and as I said too high to do anything without a ladder.

I'm gonna try padding the inside of the chrome cover with a thin layer of foam. Seems most of the noise may be from the flapper hitting that cover.
