Dump Valve Assembly

My black and gray tank dump valve ell assembly terminates at an odd angle. I use a 45 and 90 deg elbow combination to get it out of the bottom of the wet bay to attach a sewer hose. Does anybody else have this issue and what do you do?

I have read somewhere that another owner had the issue and simply turned the assembly down by hand. I'm afraid I'd break something if I tried that!

Mine swivels also.
I would not have thought to try but I noticed it during PDI and the tech swiveled it down the line up with the hole,

Mine swivels also, I use a 45 that gets it's lined up to the hole.

Thanks to all that replied. Mine does rotate. It just took more force than I thought it should. The fact that it does rotate needs to be explained during PDI. Lazy Days didn't bother to. I'm not sure their tech that was doing my PDI knew much about motorhomes anyway.

Not real impressed with Lazy Days service department either.

This must be a new issue. I Ave a 2012 390BH 60 and the dump valve is directly above the hole in the service bay and all piping is solid

The sewer hose hole is awful big. My concern being little critters going up the hose and into the compartment. Whilst the compartment is well sealed off from everything, I still don't like the idea that they can. Does anyone here use something so fill the extra space after hooking up the hose? A rag?

Thanks.

Kenny I don't put anything there but you do make a good point. There was a thread on another RV forum where the guy used a cut toilet plunger around the hose to fill the bigger hole in the wet bay.
