OK, what does it do? Today, I found the two wires attached to it, were WORSE than finger tight.... They were damn near dis-connected.

Thought that maybe that could be the cause of my jacks failing to hold the coach level consistently. They self-retract a bit after a day or two.

Boohoo, I believe it monitors the pressure in the jacks. It sends an electrical signal to the key pad to indicate if the jacks are up or down or the front slides are out (my best guess). As a side note, after I had the retrofit done to my airbags and tires, I noticed after a couple of days without leveling my coach, the air leaves the bags and my unit settles down. I have never had the jacks retract any. Hope that helps. Also a new pressure switch is about $98. Craig

Boohoo, You might want to also check the set screws on each of the jacks to make sure they are not leaking. I found some hydraulic fluid one time on one of my jacks. Craig

Hi Boo,

I had a problem last summer that one jack would not hold the coach weight. The valve at the pump for that jack was faulty. While back at the factory Equalizer replaced it and no more problems. The young man said it might have just had a speck of dirt in it but it was easier to replace. It took all of 2 minutes. If you retract jacks no pressure on them, remove the electrical solenoid for the jack in question and the valve screws out with almost no loss of fluid.

He also told me that the manual screw can cause the problem so he first checked that they were all turned for auto operation and not manual.

Attached PDF of different valves they offer. Valves are about $100 each. I think we use the 1716 valve.

You guys rock!! I know I'm not actually losing any fluid; the reservoir hasn't gone down a bit, nor is there any leakage showing either on the ground or in the compartment.
