Phil it could be that they are dealing with another group at FR and not the diesel division our Berkshires are made at. I have heard complaints of many towable and 5th wheelers that they don't receive the same support we do.

Dhornback I believe has a Berk. He had been posting on the Berkshire page anyway asking about WH issues. The rest are just ..well I'll pass on the answer.

Maybe we just do not know whom to call at Forest River. Even my dealer confesses their service is terrible. I can confirm that first hand.

Always looking for positive results.

Maybe your dealer can get in a new Berkshire & loan you the touch up bottle of paint ? I'm sure my dealer do that for me.

Russell.

When talking service let's restate when you get to the right person the Diesel division is the best around. I cannot speak for the other divisions but you diesel guys who read through the Berkshire threads please know that most of us really appreciate your efforts.

If your dealer confesses that their own service is terrible why do you still deal with them? Isn't there another dealer you can go to?

They usually are pretty good from what I hear. So aside from paint and the water heater why are you not happy with FR service? Have you dealt with Randy at FR yet?

The slide out awning ripped off while driving down the road in high wind and the refrigerator did not work. I have yet to get repairs completed after 7 months

We really want to use our unit. We are dedicated in obtaining repairs and getting own with it. Fringe was repaired by local appliance person so we are working on the other repairs now.

So your Moho is not useable? A slide out cover is an easy fix why is the dealer dragging it out?
Slide toppers will be a problem in high wind areas. The fix is to put covers on them. Several members have out them on if you do a search you will find the info. I have had no problems with mine in four years. I have not however been out west where the wind can get very strong.
If your dealer is waiting on slide covers for more than a few days they are doing something very wrong. I would bet I could call Andy at FR parts and have one to my place by Wednesday.
