Factory visit

Just left the factory after having several issues addressed. I can't thank Randy, Andy, Mike, and Warren along with the rest of the crew for the service, courtesy, and craftsmanship. All issues corrected. A tour of the plant, and a very enjoyable visit. Great service by a team that truly cares about the customer. A totally different experience from trying to get anything g done by the selling dealership.

Although we did not need anything fixed we stopped in for a plant tour early in the fall. I agree, outstanding to see and everyone was very friendly and eager to help or answer questions. Wish they were closer.

I don't know, money is money. Doesn't matter what any of us spent. I think that everyone deserves that top level service.

So, I get to tell my story again...

We currently own a Rockwood ultralight - @ $30K worth of 5er - certainly no where near a Berk or even a Cardinal or Riverstone 5er.

At Goshen this year we had some delamination occurring on our ODS wall. Techs asked if we could come by the factory after the rally. Sorry, no, I am still working and needed to get back to home. OK fine, here is our logistics division's number, give them a call when you get back to Alabama.

So I did. What did Forest River do? Sent a transporter to Alabama, picked up our 5er, took it To Goshen, IN, replaced the ODS wall, roof and some other stuff Rockwood found. Sent it over to the Forest River PDI facility, ran it through there and fixed the 6 issues THEY found. Transported it back to my house and parked it on my RV pad.

Cost to me? Zip, Zero, Nada!

This is why I am in the market for a Berkshire and not a Tiffin or Newmar

Well, ours is scheduled to go back on 02 feb for a bent pin box, internal bulgeing in right side wall, slide opening built out of square, and 20 other "smaller" problems. No one offered to pick ours up,we staged it at our sons place in toledo so as to help avoid any of the infaymous northern mi winter weather. Now I have to have some serious back surgery next month,so it may not get there at all.just sayin.......

edit) bent pin box frameing, pin box is OK.

I assumed it was a joke as was my response to Bob. Heck I've been trailer trash many times. I always took it as a compliment.

The trailer trash thing kind of reminds me when we first met our youngest daughters boyfriends parents

His mom says to us..."so y'all have a mobile home" (not a bad thing) but my answer was "wellllllll not exactly"
