Fall Generator Maintenance

Just did the fall maintenance that I do on my 8k Onan diesel generator. Was happy to see that the spark arrestor plug had a hex head and not a square head. Made removal easier than I expected. Since I have only put 5 hours on the generator since last fall when I changed the oil, air and fuel filters, and the oil, I only changed the oil today and felt that the filters would be good until next year.

Only 5 hours - I prescribe more hours next year. I think we are approaching 140ish and just purchased the coach in late August.

Don't ususally use the generator all that much but I do run it about 30 mins every other month or so which accounts for the 5 hours of usage.
