What did you use for ramps to get it up there ?
I've been thinking about doing this with mine.

Set of Werner metal ramps. Went right in and fits fine.

Yup, the R402's. The gentleman I bought the cart from gave me the ramps. So that was a plus!

A friend and I installed my Roadmaster baseplate on the Colorado yesterday morning. Took about 5 hours. Could have been less if I wasn't so picky about painting and hiding the breakaway and power plug black so they don't show much.

As usual, I am glad I did it myself as there was something I did differently than the instructions which I consider major.

They replace the tow hooks and should line up nice with the Bershire receiver.

No crossbar with this one. But that means I cannot use the tow defender, or whatever they call it.

My Enclave required a cross bar but the Jeep didn't. When I traded the Jeep in for the MKX I was in Florida. I found it requires a cross bar. I have two in Michigan in storage so I really didn't want to buy another one. Mi was able to hook it up without one safely but it wasn't right. I have it all fixed now with the cross bar.
I have two cross bars and two rock guards. Junk we accumulate and never need.

I know. I have now added that crossbar to my junk collection.
Probably hard to sell it alone without tow bar and/or baseplate.

LOL!!! Had to.... Have a trip planned for the 4th and needed them installed quick. I was on travel all week for work so would have never had the time to do it before our trip.

Nice, all blacked out also. Thumbs up

Are you still going to try Towing without disconnecting the battery? I had a thought about that today. Think I'm going to keep call connected to the truck while towing. That way I can tell if there any strange noises back there.
