Finally left Goshen

Well we had a mini rally at the Diesel plant today. Dan and Nikki,Pat and Denny, Larry and his wife(sorry I can't remember her name) and someone else I just can't think. Anyway we all had some final repairs to get done and all left happy well except Dan they needed some paint. It was nice to have someone to hang out with. Larry owns a Charleston and hopefully will be on the forum soon.
I got a new gray tank installed and that is a big job. They replace my back toilet and a couple of minor items and the old Berkshire is ready for a month in Traverse City Mi. One of our favorite places to be. Getting the work done by Warren means it was done right. That guy knows every inch of a RV and has a work ethic that is behind anyone I have seen. Randy was busy making sure all were taken care of. Andy was hard at work getting Denny and Pat's wiring done. And Julie was hard at work. Her and her husband Chris are a real asset to the FR family. Thanks to all the folks at FR for a wonderful week plus a day.

We are still holed up at the Holiday Inn. Haven't heard from Randy yet. Of course I knew we would be at least a couple days with the paint & body . I'll check with him in the morning.
Maybe we'll see you up around Traverse City soon also.

Phil; Good to hear all is well. We're going north to visit Karen's mother Friday who lives in Benzonia. If she would like to go for a drive, we may go Dick and Carol.

Phil; My mother-in-law is invalid and we'll just be out for a drive if we even go at all. I just thought we might drive in and literally say hi and bye. Are you parked next to Dick and Carol? Dinner will have to wait until September. Nice thought, though.

We are still here as well ...Middlebury actually at the Coachmen factory until tomorrow, possibly Thursday. These folks have been amazing to work with. I can say the weather is considerably different than it was last week with the wind and temps down pretty good at night. These lower temps are going to make the transition back to Texas weather a little more difficult .....but highs of 102 and 103 aren't too bad.
All in all this has been a fantastic experience and staying a few more days has been well worth it.

Sergeant Major I hope you are in the road soon. For me it was worth it and as always the skill and knowledge at the factory is top notch and I really don't think my MH has been in this shape ever. I could not be happier with the results. It was nice to meet you at the rally. By the way that's a nice looking MH you have.

Thanks Phil,
It was nice to meet you as well. We are really happy with our coach, the quality, craftsmanship, features, factory support and the roughly 400 square feet of living space doesn't hurt either. ..lol

Hope you have many miles of safe and happy journeys

We pick up our rig this morning.
Furnace replaced and is very quiet now.
Rear AC replaced and it is whisper quiet. (very pleased that we can sleep now)
Residential fridge water and icemaker fixed. Need to run it for a while to see how the ice maker does. We do get water out of the door.
Paint and fiberglass work on the front looks good. Replaced a section of diamond shield.
Somehow I even ended up with a new center hub for the one I had missing on the front. THanks to whoever did that for us.
They checked the front end alignment and it seems correct so my next stop is Hill Truck Freightliner tomorrow morning.

I'm afraid I have nothing else to complain about. LOL
Seriously everyone at FR was great as you all know by now.
I'm a believer!!!!
