By “shut off” do you mean trip the breaker and black out OR just turn off because it falsely thinks it’s reached desired temp?

Me thinks the latter. Ours should not do that when not in thermostat mode.

I really don't think that is your problem, what they are talking about is overheating, overheating should not trip your breaker, I had the same problem with mine shutting off every ten mins. If it is going off on over heating, you have to go through the procedure to reset the board. That's shutting the switch off and turning the breaker off for 15 mins, then turn the breaker on and then the first place, I just went though that with mine and Coachmen sent me a new Fireplace. Still after it did that at least 5 times, it still never tripped my breaker..hope that helps, the reset board procedure is on the internet not in the manual,

Coachmen uses the same company in Elkhart for a supplier. Difference is Coachmen uses a relayed to split power from a 15 amp breaker to run the W/H also, being mine C is only 30 amp,

That's exactly what I mean as I also stated if I leave the grill that covers the fan/heat opening, controls and thermostat bulb open it will run until I shut it off.

Maybe when the fireplace gets hot you have a loose wire that touches the metal cabinet.

My TT is 30 amp and the fireplace is on a circuit shared with the microwave.
