New problem. Bunk slide out fade on trip. When we got to cg Friday night and extended the bunk slide. It started out for about 6 inches them made terrible grinding sounds and stopped moving. I pushed the in button and it moved about a inch. Then stopped moving and you heard motor spinning freely and slid did not move. With the help of my son and two others we manually pushed the slide out. When we left camp today we manually just pushed the slide back in.

Haven't even looked at the manual yet.

May just call dealer and not even mess with it as it's under warranty.

Anyone se have this problem?

I bet it's a stripped gear. I had the exact same issue on my 14 after our first trip (horrible loud grinding noise). Took it back to the dealer and they replaced the motor and gear. 3 days late, I was back on the road.

Thanks CT. Sounds like that's what I'll do too. I will call the dealer Monday.

Thank you supercheif. That sounds very similar to my problem except mine was able to be pushed in/out when button was pushed. I'll call randy in the am and get a plan together. I mobile tech would be great. I really don't want to drive 120 miles to the dealer I bought it from. Sounds like my gears stripped.

The gear box and motor are a single unit in that slide. When the gear box went it froze. With the gears frozen, I couldn't push the slide in or out. Once the motor/gear box came in, it took the tech about 2 hours to install.
Hope you can get yours fixed easily.
Tom

I had a similar problem, mine was a broken shaft coming off the motor that broke.
