Hopefully this will be a very good improvement, and it should make things better for everyone involved from customer, dealer and tech.

I'm still waiting for parts from my pdi, over a year ago...
I have documentation from my dealer, every time they email, asking about the parts.

Anything to help fix their parts department, would be a godsend.

What are you waiting for and have you contacted the factory directly?

This is good news. Hopefully, this will speed things up when repairing our coaches, TT or whatever you own. If you purchased something brand new, you would expect it to be free from any problems for at least few years. When you do encounter problems, you would expect both the dealer's repair department and FR parts department to fix the issue or issues within reasonable period of time (not 3 months or more).

Well, this will take away the "we're waiting for parts from FR" excuse, but I'll bet a dollar we'll start getting the "we're waiting for parts from XYZ" excuse.

At least with the FR excuse, you could call FR and see if the dealer was lying to you. May not be so easy now, if you have to call XYZ.

Still, I applaud FR for the new policy.

My trailer needed a new axle last February. The dealer, Fun Town in Cleburne TX claim it took them until May to get a new axle. I just replaced the axle again, myself. I got the new axle direct from Lippert in less than 10 business days. The funny thing is when I pulled the axle off the trailer I found a shipping label on the axle where it had been shipped to the dealer on 01/12/2016, which was before I purchased my trailer. So, that means the dealer had the axle in stock back in February. I am no detective, but it would seem to me that Fun Town was less than truthful. I could be wrong, but it sure seems that way.
