Freightliner OptiView Dash

Got this from RVBusiness Daily - MAN I sure hope this will be included on the mid-16 REV Models!

Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. (FCCC) unveiled OptiView, a fully integrated, all-digital LCD instrument cluster, at this week’s National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky.
Designed in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz, OptiView brings the features and benefits of the S-Class luxury sedan’s digital dash to a premium RV chassis. With fully integrated gauges and an easy-to-read interface, OptiView is a user-friendly system offering a number of features designed to increase driver safety and comfort.
“OptiView is the newest example of how we continue to innovate exclusively for the RV market by leveraging the tremendous resources of the Daimler global family,” said Tony Sippel, director of sales and marketing for FCCC. “As with all of our groundbreaking features, our number one goal with OptiView is to deliver a luxury automotive driving experience for the premium RV owner.”
Noteworthy OptiView features include:
  • Anti-glare display with bright graphics, clear fonts and streamlined menu structure.
  • 360-degree, high-resolution camera system capability, eliminating danger zones from all sides of the coach.
  • Bluetooth mobile connectivity for hands-free phone use and Smart Wheel controls.
  • Intuitive touchscreen menu, displaying information from a number of inputs and sources.
OptiView’s core driving instrument cluster will be available as an option in March 2016

Key words here are 'premium RV owner'. Makes me think that it would be only on the XLT.

And probably the Charleston upgrade, which I am anxious to see what they're going to do there.

X2 I am inclined to believe this will be a distinguishing factor between the Berk and the Charleston...Although I sure home they put one on the XLT!
