Fridge acting up

We just bought a 14' Berk 40BH. We are loving it. Picked it up in TX and brought it home to Huntsville, Al. No problems to speak of. I store the Berk in a storage unit that has 30amp power. When my gen is running my fridge works fine. I park it in storage and come back the next day and the fridge is not working (and all the food is spoiled). I turn on the gen...fridge works. I'm thinking I my have a transfer switch issue, but everything else in the coach works fine when connected to the 30amp power. If there are any tips out there I would appreciate them.

Thanks!

Do you have power to other items in the rig like microwave? When you plug in do you hear the transfer switch bang a little? Just one bang. Have you checked the breaker box?

could your 30amp dogbone be bad and you are only getting power to one side of your 50amp service?

I store my Berkshire at home with 30 amp power to the unit without any problems. As stated in a previous response, I would check the wiring in your dogbone to see if you lost a line of power and are only receiving power to one leg.

Regards,
Fred

Rather than spending the money why don't you buss out your old one with an OHM meter or buss light to see if it is OK?

Update on my fridge issue...thanks to Silvers recommendation it turns out my plug in my storage building was not putting out much power. It was only putting out 15-16 amps. Storage company fixed right away and wal-la! Really appreciate all of the input and help!
