front end shake

When I drive my coach at 60 mph and below the coach is smooth and a great ride. When I exceed 65 the front end starts to shake at 75 it feels like the tire wants to fall off. I had it checked by the shop and they said there was nothing wrong. has anyone else had this experience and were you able to correct it.

Was it a tire shop? If they checked all the mechanical part in the front end and the were all good and tight, it kinda sounds like it may be a tire that is starting to seperate. I had something simalar on my truck and foundout it was comming from the right front when it blew while I was towing my 5th wheel.

It was at the freightliner dealer but they sent it to the tire shop for tire balance. They remounted and balanced the tire but the problem is still present.

I disagree with them
there IS someTHING wrong
that would be a for sure

any good shop that specializes in
front end alignment of big rigs
(should) be able to locate problem fast
good luck with that

I have to agree with mountainmanbob. We had a similar issue with ours and had it aligned at the Freightliner factory in Gaffney, SC, when we did the Camp Freightliner a couple of years ago. Huge difference in the way it drove afterwards.

another THING I do not seen done anymore

another THING I do not seen done anymore
is
my friend years ago owned a gas station
and he sold a lot of tires
the rubber tires at least in those days
were NOT perfect round
he put all tires on a spinning jig
and took just (a tad) off
so as to be perfectly round
he said in those old time days
that this was someTHING that most all
tire shops did not do
and took much pride that he did
he claimmed that not only did the tires
spin and stay balanced better and longer
they also would wear even
((makes good sense I think))

so
how many THINGS do we really
need to take into accout here

possibly

front end out of alignment
tire not perfect round
tire not mounted correctly
improper tire pressure
bearing problem
ball joints and or bushings used

IF
all of those are in good working order
a shaking front end
just don't make sense ??

another possibility
unless I'am yet missing someTHING ???

have seen this done many many times
up top on the mountain

I would have to agree there is something wrong. I've only got 5600 miles on my 2012 390BH but I set the cruise at 75 and it's smooth sailing.
