I think I would mount it upside down so the black part wouldn't be as visible.

Looks good to me. I ordered one and will post pictures after the install is complete. Thanks for the info. I agree that " how hard could it be to include a plate mount" Here in Ca we must have a front plate.

I tried it a couple different ways and I just may flip it over one more time and look at it again.

Ct. is now 2 plates, for a time they went to 1 plate but then changed back. Guess they needed more work for the inmates.

Wow, I finally figured out an advantage to Michigan registration..one plate, although they charge for ten!

The charge way to much and the raid deal just increased the fee by 20%. We moved our registration to Fl. Saves me 800$ a year.
Sorry for the hijack Joe. The plate holder looks like a good solution. Probably cheaper than moving.

Looks great!

I didn't want to risk getting pulled over by DPS (We live in Texas) so I decided to install the front plate myself. I went the Auto Zone route and bought a cheap plastic holder and several different types of mounting bolts, washers and lock nuts. I admit that drilling two holed in the front fiberglass of my rig gave me pause. I measured several times and used duct tape to drill through resulting in no splintering issues. I'm not a handy person but this went smoothly. The whole process took about 30 minutes.
