furnace ducts on Berkshire

Well, I was out at the storage facility today to do my monthly (or so) genny exercise. I usually fire up the furnaces and fireplace to put a load on the generator. I was sitting on the couch (390fl) and only a small amount of heat was coming out of the ducts under the couch. They were attached well at the factory with a previous visit, so I knew that wasn't an issue. Just for the heck of it, I pulled off the furnace cover/vent on the kitchen island. Much to my surprise I found that one of the flexible heater hoses was only partially connected to one of the furnace outlets. I reattached it and voila, good strong heat from under the couch vents. If you are having problems with weak heat output, this may be another avenue to explore.

Hate to say this Phil, but probably going to spend all my travel time in Michigan this year. Probably starting in May. Send some of that warm weather north buddy

Very common issue with the flexible ducting, it can also come loose with just age, so you will have to always check them from time to time, but good fix and Happy Camping
