I grew up there. Some of my favorite local to Gaffney places:

Aegean Pizza on Floyd Baker Blvd.
Lynn's Drive In on wilkinsville hwy. (Awesome hamburger steaks and chili cheeseburger, onion rings, an old school literal drive in, no dining room)
Harold Tindall's (was actually on an episode of DDD on food network)
Daddy Joe's Bbq on Floyd Baker Blvd.
The Clock on hyatt st. (near the freightliner plant).
Also if you go to Spartanburg go to Ikes Korner Grill or pig out bbq.

None of these are coat and tie restaurants by a long shot but they are truly a slice of the best local joints.

barns. Boy do those places sound like the good old day's in socal. Doubt they get much of the "better" crowd and that's whats great. Mom's bringing the kid's out to marvel at those big machines coming in to town. Hope to get a chance to be a customer.

Well, I'm finally here. Long drive with lots of rain, on and off.

Went into town to visit the local WallMart. Lots of choices for food.

So I am almost out of water in the FW tank. I really don't want to unhook and drive over to the dump station to fill it. May ask if they would do it Monday when it's in for service. This is the only part I miss from my 5th wheels. You could always fill up 5 or 10 gal. containers with water, drop a hose in it, and turn the pump on to fill the FW tank.

So I'm planning to go to Cowpens tomorrow and see what I can learn.

I'll be missing this come December and January

Looking like a real option for the future. Still disappointed that the coach can't do what my fifth wheels have done.

Maybe at Goshen, there might be some setup from one of the vendors I can get installed.

Thanks for pointing it out.

So I'm sitting here in Gaffney admiring a dutch star across from me and sipping on adult beverages.

I don't have sattelite so forced to watch the same Superman I watched in the fifties (only colorized) and batman reruns from the sixties..... what a walk down memory lane......

Pardon me for babbling......

I asked about more classes and found out that there is only one instructor and he also has other tasks that take him out of state. Bottom line is no additional classes.

They talked about adding a advanced class two years ago. Never happened.

Mike it's a class about maintaining a motor home. They cover how things work and maintenance intervals.
