Good luck DV, hope you get to really enjoy your coach. May your troubles all be behind you.

Ah HA! Now I remember that thread! Thanks for the research hordok!

That is absolutely BRILLANT Tom! I think I will be doing this as well.

BTW, what sort of problems did you have with your wardrobe (Electric?) slide?

Rich,

I see in the flurry of posts, no one answered you....

As to the rally, Bob Byrne (The Director of FROG) will send out email notification about when the Rally will open registration, usually in the spring of each year. You can watch this forum (the FRF not this thread) and/or the Official FROG Site [http://forestriverfrog.com]

If you have any other questions about the rally, feel free to send me a Private Message (so we do not hijack this thread )

Bob,
I had motor problems. I was in Florida starting out on a several week trip. Put the slide out and it wouldn't retract. It just made noises. I had my coach about 3 or 4 months at the time. I got a mobil tech to come out and I got a new motor from FR and the tech installed it. It started making noises again about 10 months later and it was replaced again at the Goshen rally. It seems that FR got a bunch of bad motors from the manufacturer. Hopefully this has been rectified and won't recur.

The Forest River Diesel Division folks do read these forum postings

Phil,
When I chatted with Craig, the FR Diesel Division rep at the Calgary RV Show in January 2016, he said that they do read the FR Forums postings, but they don't reply.

I think it is a good policy – they get an early warning signal of problems, but don't get dragged down in some of the offside postings that appear.

BTW, I find that they are helpful when I email them.

Gordon I know that Randy reads the forum. We have talked about it. Mostly I was tired of the OP not wanting help.
