Are you at home or a campground?

I believe the GFI require the correct Amperage to be reset. I tripped my GFI at home on purpose to check it's function last year and it would not reset. I called my dealer and discuss this with the service manager, who aske me if I had a 50 AMP RV circuit at home. I said no and he informed my that I need a power source that provided at least 30 AMPs or more than the standard house hold of 15 AMPS. I was able to reset the GFI at the campground when I was plugged into the campground power supply.

I use just the standard 15 amp garage circuit to power the Residential fridge when we are at home loading up the trailer and or cleaning the trailer. That's all I need since the A/C is not used or any other 120V item on the trailer.

Just a suggestion to look at!

Reset breakers in distribution panel by opening to off then closing to on, just a visual inspection may not do the trick. Also need to have power to reset most GFCI's.

I had a similar issue a few years ago on my Columbus. I found a wire pinched under the steps. Evidently when removing the steps some time the wire got caught between the step and frame and caused a short. It took some time to show up but going up and down the stairs eventually caused the issue. If that is the case you will just have to track it down and do a repair.

When you try to reset them do they reset and then trip right back off, or do they not even try to reset?

If they try to reset then you either have a fault, or you're plugged into a shore power receptacle that has a gfci and they don't like each other.

Also, Fonzie is correct that they have to have power to them in order to reset.

A standard 15/20 amp circuit is fine. However if that circuit is GFCI too they may have issues. Since most outdoor and garage 15/20 outlets will be GFCI this could be an issue. Generally 30/50 outlets are not put on GFCIs so they won't have the issue.

If you have issues and need to test at home plug into a non-GFCI outlet inside and you should be ok
