For any of the people who are on this forum I cam assume that you all have rv's? SO with that said I have has AAA, and Verizon's version , and Harford's version of "Roadside assistance" and I will tell you this;
1) if you own and RV of any type you will have no or maybe very little service.
2) If the rv you own is a trailer you will not find any other service that will TOUCH a your trailer!
3) Unless you are in the area of some no name service who is willing to come and help you (and I doubt it) the bill will kill you if the bad service dose not!and there is more, much more everyone at one point has had some kind of issue with getting stuck on the road, and if it is snowing or raining it is no fun having to try and fix your car, yes a car carries a spare of some kind, but motorhomes don't, and what if you drive a bunch of nails and you get more than one flat (it happens more than you think) and there is so much more than a flat tire while on the road today with all the electronics running everything today.
SO like everything you7 can be in an area with "NO COVERAGE" and that can happen but weather it be GS's or AAA or who ever you are not going to like them! But again I can tell you first hand that if I had GS assistance the last time I broke down I would not have had to spend over 2 hours on the phone with someone who could not even find the "interstate highway" I was on, but after all that and "yes because I had my 5th wheel connected to the truck at the time of the break down" I has to walk 3 miles each way to get parts to fix my truck which only took once I had the parts 10 minutes to repair it and get me home.
So before you blame a company REALLY find out the good and bad about it, and if you bother to read the WHOLE booklet about the coverage of GS road assistance you will find they are leaps and bounds better.
Sorry for the rant and Happy Camping
