Goodyear G670RV/275/70R/22.5
Has any of you experienced unusual wear patterns on their front tires?

Have you ever had the front end aligned? Have the tires ever been balanced? Don't know why this should happen on a 2014 unit. How many miles on your coach?

Tom, never had front end issues of any kind, 25k miles. Sent pictures to Goodyear place in San Antonio, says its normal wear for " freewheeling" tires whether steel or tag axle. He says I should rotate with rear tires. Not happy with that response.

Paul,
I can't blame you. I wouldn't be happy with that response either! Maybe you should call Freightliner help line (1-800-FTL-HELP) and see if you can send them the picture and see what they think. I guess I will need to keep an eye on my tires.

Paul that's way Beyond normal. Wow. I would agree with Tom in calling FL. Something in that front end must be way off. Let us know.

I put a call into the Goodyear Texas Rep. Still haven't heard from him yet. Another equation I forgot about is that I have a Safe-T-Plus steer assist installed. I'll call them in the morning.

Are both worn in a similar fashion?

No, the fronts are not worn equally. The passenger tire is worn dramatically more than the drivers side.

The alignment can be set by the installation of wedges between the axle beam and the u bolts. I know this because I complained about the tracking of my coach during PDI and Lazydays set it incorrectly with one of the wedges. It, was removed by Freightliner during an alignment.

Paul..
I still think u might have a blown shock on passenger side... Might not show up on ride but bad enough to let tire wear....

Paul not sure if saw NBC nightly news tonight but they did a piece on tire recalls and that there is no database to contact owners that there tires are recalled some of them looked a lot like yours. They said to take the number on the sidewall after the DOT and contact manufacture.

I did see that and never put two and two together. I'll do it tomorrow.
Thanks for the wake up call, Wayne!

I did contact the FL help line. No Eli on the issue. If you own a Berkshire contact Phil about FB.
