Got a weird one for you

Last week we are leaving the camp ground I unhooked
everything and then my son need to use the restroom and he turned on the water pump and the toilet was just running. The water just continued to run in the bowl like it would when you step on the pedal to flush it. I have not had it hooked up to city water since but on the water pump it will run constantly.

Any ideas?

Sounds like the foot pedal valve is stuck open. Might have some something caught in it so it won't close.

Work the pedal a few times, including pushing it halfway and then letting it go....see if you can shock the valve into compliance....
