Sorry CC I've worked more Labor Days than I've been off. It's no fun.
The rest if you I hope are having a wonderful holiday in your favorite campground.

Nice! Williamsburg is on our short list. Looks like a nice park. Anywhere else in the area you'd consider?

The BEST time to start a camping trip is the day after Labor Day. CGs are less crowded, Hwys less bizzy, etc, May not need the AC and can get away with no hook ups

We just left the Williamsburg area. If your military, we stayed at Cheatham Annex about halfway between Williamsburg and Youngtown and very nice famcamp with full hookups.

Where are you camping in Pensacola? We were there two weeks ago just south on the island at Fort Pickens CG.

Happy Labor Day to all. I go to Williamsburg every year and stay at Anvil Camp ground. Close to everything. Rail line is close, but once I'm a sleep, don't notice. Really nice staff.

Hopefully, all you weekenders will nice have weather for what may be your final outing of the year.

For us full timers, this is one of those weekends we stick REAL close to the coach, no matter where we are parked.

Boowho??

Boowho??

That's the truth. We have our 7 year old grand daughter with us this weekend and she of course wanted to go to the pool. The place is packed with people arguing over chairs. I knew enough to bring our own. A couple of hours and she has her pool fix and we can get out of the mad house.
Next week is piece and quiet. I love the kids and all but us full timers get the park back and we don't intend do do anything with it. LOL.

Phil, I love kids, they are our future. But even the VERY best behaved get hard to be around after about 30 minutes (for an old fart, like me). Kids, by their very nature are full of energy; if they're are not, then they are sick. Especially after being cooped up on the road for 6-8 hours.

I love to watch them come "boiling" out of the vehicle like a bunch of angry bees. The energy is just plain explosive!!!

But I really get happy around this time of year, when most of the little "tikes" are back in school!!!

Boowho??

We just left there yesterday. We spent 7 nights in site #29. What a great RV park. We just prefer to skip the holiday crowds.
