Headlight Upgrades?

Quick search here couldn't find anything (although my search may have sucked). We have a 2017 40BH and I have trouble seeing at night and constantly have the high beams on to drive. Has anyone upgraded their headlights to something that actually works? If so can you please provide any guidance as it would be nice to be able to actually drive at night!

Thanks,
Garrett

Hmmmm......

Have you recently had an eye exam? Trouble seeing in dim light can be a result of cataracts or macular degeneration among other things.

Garrett,
The alignment on the headlights is pretty hit and miss from the factory. You’ve probably already looked at the threads on this as to how to check them, but it’s worth a look. They could be way off. Also, you’re sitting quite a bit higher than normal and that can have an effect. The link sent to you helps. I believe you can convert the type of bulb but not necessarily a simple swap out.

This is a very common problem with motorhomes from a variety of manufacturers. Don’t compare the lighting of your pickup truck to motorhome headlights.....they are not tested anywhere near the same.

Mine suck at night too. I think they need to be aimed. I haven’t looked to see how that’s done. Is it fairly easy to aim them myself?

I went with HID's on my 2011. They work great!

They're plug & play, & available on Amazon. Match your current light bulb to the indicated kit.
