Help!!
I was trying to replace the air pressure relief valve on my Haldex air dryer and the valve broke off leaving part of it in the air dryer. Some one posted about this problem and what he did to get it out. I have been searching all afternoon and can not find the post. Any help finding that post will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!!

I don't know where the post is but it seems like you need an easy-out,
it goes in the broken piece and screws backwards so when you loosen it, it grabs the broken piece and turns it out. Kind of like a backward drill bit.

Yes- I know about using an easyout but I was just wondering if the person who posted about the issue did anything else to loosten the broken piece. It seems that Haldex puts red locktite on the threads of the valve and as I said, I didn't know if the poster did anything special to remove the broken piece.

If it was red loctite you'll have to heat it with a small proponent torch
Or you do MORE damage!

I'm pretty sure that it was this forum since I had seen the post by Team Wilhelm about needing to replace his pressure relief valve on the Haldex air dryer and someone posted about having the relief valve break when trying to remove it.
I had heard that the red Locktite may need to be heated in order to remove the valve. Thanks.

Maybe?
I looked all the way back to his first post and this looks to be the one you want.

That was the first post I had seen about the problem but there was another post by someone who tried to change the relief valve and it snapped off when he tried to get it out. That is the post that I can not find.
Thank you for looking.

Thanks again for your help!
