HELP!!! No Propane (Solved)
My tank shows 3/4 full which I'm certain is correct, BUT - I can't light my stove or power my fridge because it appears none is flowing. This is a recent thing...
Am I missing something?? Is there a switch or a reset or something else I need to do???

I know when I have that problem i have to light a burner on the stove to get the HW heater and fridge to work but seeing you can't even get your stove to work I'm at a loss.

Not to sound trivial by any means, but did you open the valve at the tank? When they get filled typically the guy pumping the propane turns the supply valve off as a safety measure.

Check to see if you have a crimp in your propane line... Start at the tank and trace back as far as you can - you may be able to see it.

CO Dector off? We by mistake hit the button while sweeping and turned it off.

I had mine run dry with the indicator still showing 2/3 full. It was the first time I had really used the heater and wasn't sure how long it would last. I've also had the darn thing not flow because of a CO detector error - required resetting the sensor.

If you have dual tanks, be sure the slide is green on one or the other. Sounds like one is empty. Also, I noticed that when I put my gauge on the one tank it puts a crimp in the 6-7 inch line, but the other tank connector is slightly longer so put it on that one instead as my back up tank.

I have a Shurflo autochange regulator that is failing. I had just filled the tank so I knew that wasn't the problem. It shows empty & changes to the other tank even though there is still propane in it, then I get low flow on the full tank. I let it sit for about an hour & finally get normal flow. Could be that, nothing $60 won't fix.

wow ... you guys are good. I never would have guessed that having the monitor turned off would prevent flow. Good to know that the safety measure exist ... I just hope I remember when it gets turned off by accident

Was it the CO detector or the propane detector that was turned off? I don't believe that there is an on/off switch for the CO detector but there is one on the propane detector which is located at floor level.

Propane detector... Placement of switch at floor level makes it easy to bump with your foot... But I understand the need of having it at that level... Maybe the switch should slide side-to-side and not up-and-down....
