help with a campground in Omaha or Bellview

I have to make a trip back to Omaha for a funeral and was thinking of driving the motor home because it is a easier trip with the kids. I started looking for campgrounds but the ones I could find did not give a description or have a website. can some recommend I nice site somewhere between Omaha and Plattsmouth Nebraska?

The closest one that takes reservations would be Louisville state park. Nice little park with camping and fishing. It's about 15 minutes west of Plattsmouth.

There is a place called Walnut Creek Recreation Area in Papillion. They have pads but are 1st come no reservations.

If you are military (or retired or other), you can try the Offutt AFB FamCamp. Otherwise, I would agree with Louisville. Very nice and not too far a drive (Hwy 370 to Hwy 50, then south about 7 or 8 miles). That's all I know of in the area.

I know that there is camping for $15 per night at the Dodge County Fairgrounds, just outside of Fremont NE. They have electric hookup as well as water hookup. the address is: Fairacres Road, Scribner, NE 68057 Scribner, Nebraska GPS: 41.661938, -96.667374. It is a pretty big area to park in. No shade however. I know people that have stayed their in a 40 foot MH before. Hope this helps!

Mahoney is just off the interstate and is a gorgeous park! Louisville is nice other than the hourly train roughly 200 yards away!
