Honeymoon suggestions?

We are getting married in late June in Panama City beach. We rented a house on beach for family to stay in.

We will stay there most of week then hit the highway for honeymoon for at least a week more .

Looking for suggestions on places to go. We were considering going to fort Myers area then across to east coast of Florida. Then just meander up the east coast then back to ohio.

Stop in Savannah ga a must on the way back north.

Help make our honeymoon a wonderful memory.

Glenn

Topsail SP in panhandle is nice. Lots of good reports on Fort DeSoto & Fort Wilderness. We also like a lot of the state parks; Rainbow Springs, Blue Springs, Fort Clinch & others.
Being on your honeymoon, any place will be special.
Good luck, happy camping & be safe.

If you like architecture and great food, Charleston, SC.

Since you haven't said what it is that you enjoy doing, it's hard to tell whether South Florida would be an especially good spot to go and spend your honeymoon. Golfing, fishing, waterskiing, swimming or sunbathing are Florida kind of activities.

I live in Central FL and think Savannah, Jekyll, Charleston can take up your whole week.

It's not about where you go...it about who you're sharing it with!

First off congratulations. Check out western NC mountains. Asheville has Biltmore Estate, farther north in NC is grandfather mountain and there's also the brown mountain lights.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I figure we will be traveling for 2 weeks. We will be happy just sitting on a patio enjoying some margaritas.
We will also saltwater fish, historical tours in Savannah and area. We want it to be beach orientated the whole trip. On last few days on way home the mountains of NC sound like a pleasant change of pace to wrap up the trip. Key west was on our agenda but just don't know if we will have the time to do much more if we go to keys. If we do the keys, we will probably just hit Savannah/Charleston then home. Decisions decisions.

From one who lives in Charleston we have some of the finest beaches. If you do decide to come to Charleston PM me and I can give you some real good tips about the area and resturants. Congratulations
