House battery will not work unless engine on or aux button pressed.

I purchased a a 2013 berkshire 390bh360 8 months ago. I am currently in an rv resort and cannot get my house batteries to engage unless my engine is on or my aux button is pressed. When the the engine is not running or the aux button is not press the battery disconnected button turns off and the lights stutt off. However the refrigerator and microwave tv and 110v plugs all work with light off. My inverter says full charge so I believe the batteries are okay. Can any tell me how to fix this. I an currently hold down the aux button with a coin to make everything work properly. We this damage anything? I am currently plugged into a 50amp power supply. Please help tbis is ruining out vacation.

Not sure, but here is a few things to try.

There is a breaker on the inverter, try to reset.
Make sure your saleman switch didn't get turned off
If you are having to hold down your aux switch button, sounds like your running you lights off your chassis battery, be careful not to run down the chassis battery.
Have you measured the voltage on the house battery?
Loose connection on house batteries?

Good luck

X2, check for loose connection at the batteries.

My buddy had a problem like this and it was a fuse that blew... Hope it's that simple...

Shouldn't the converter supply 12 volts to the buss even if the battery disconnect was engaged?

Thank guys. I basically stuck a pen in my aux power button to keep the power on. I am plugged in to a 50amp power source so all the batteries stayed fully charged. The mobile mechanic believes it is the relay that connects and disconnects the house batters has gone bad. I am still under warranty so I made an appoint at the repair center. It is still under warranty only problem is, they can take me until 1/21/2015 o.O

Did fixing the relay switch fix your problem? We are having a similar problem.

It is still in the shop covered under warranty. I will not know what the exact issue is until I get it back. I will keep you posted.
