Just wondering why you turn the coach off once you are all aired up? I always do the same steps as you except never shut it down. You get the ignition on alarm when you turn the panel on but when you hit retract all it goes off. I've used these steps since new and never had an issue. Also, I do not wait to air up when I start the coach, I go straight to retract all since the coach dumps air when you do this step anyway. Once all retracted, turn it off and you hear the click and the coach starts to air up the bags and tanks.

Luckily, since I keep no REAL schedule the possible effects of my THREE hour delay was minimal. So we ran 24 miles east on I80 in Wy and are stopped at a Flying J for the night in Rawliins, WY.

What's worse is she asked me at least twice was it in neutral. Just a matter of several massive brain-farts due to getting excited over the damn coach doing the bucking bronco thing.
And besides the egg on my face thingy, I had a nice meal of crow an hour ago. I won't live this down for a LONG time.

It'll haunt me for years.... What's really funny is my DW has more mechanical ability than many men I know. Until we went full time, she her OWN set of tools.

What do you mean by the "bucking bronc" issue?
I have yet to experience that, it sounds like fun but I'm guessing it is undesirable.

Can you bypass the lock out by jumping the starter solenoid. If so, PLEASE have engine in park with emergency brake on AND someone sitting in drivers seat with foot on brake.

So if you can enlighten us with no common sense where is the solenoid? If it's in the Battery bay that's one thing but even then you better know what you are doing. If it's in the engine compartment it would require you to be inside the engine compartment while someone I is trying to start the engine. I'm sure it's doable but not for the novice.

Same way I do mine, Jason. No engine shutoff. Just hit jack retract after you've started the engine.
