Great write up, I just ordered my LED's and plan on doing the same.

I'm going to do a 12v system and seeing how the batteries are now on the passenger side hopefully I will not need to drill any holes to get power.

Thanks - that's awesome! Great idea using 12V. I think the light kit is decent quality. Ours has not had any issues since I installed them two months and over 1000 miles ago.

I got the 120V one with two strips. A small hole in the side plastic in the R1 (right side, first bin) compartment and the thin end of the strip slid in. Went RF to RR using one strip.

Want to go around the front and down the left side, so ordered another one with power and one strip, will use the second strip from the first set.....
