Hughes Autoformer
Finished permanent install of my autoformer in the Berk yesterday. Installed in power bay, but with such a tight area, had to do some mods for power cable. Can post pics if anyone is interested.

Because of the limited space in the compartment, I attach the male end that's shown to a 30 ft extension cable which attaches in the compartment and then goes out through the access hatch.

We've used the Autoformer for years. On a hot day at the lake at older campsites when most everyone is running the A/C's plus the regular current draw stuff ... voltage drops down to the 107V range. You can hear your A/C sound different and not work as well. The Autoformer steps the voltage back up to around 115 - 120.

Just wondering if there are many people using these? I bought mine as a measure to keep my appliances from getting damaged and prolonging their life since I plan on using this coach for now and when I retire in a few years.
