I saw a Berkshire....

Well we have to work a bit in the spring and the fall. Still scratch the dirt a bit. Had a tuff spring. Wet. Just got our spring work done. All equip washed & in the barns on Saturday. Have a week or so of repairs.

Plan a trip to dealer in Elkhart next week & on up to the Soo locks after that. Got to watch those freighters. Wife has to go out to Mackinaw island So we heading your way soon. First things first.

Russell

If you need a stopping spot we are in Hopkins Mi. Hidden Ridge RV park. Exit 59 off US 131. It's a nice park.

I saw a Berkshire....

Generally stay at dealer free. (I like free) then Mill Creek Mackinaw city. Then city park just east of locks. I'll keep exit 59 in mind. Never do reservations. Thanks.

Mid week you don't need them. Enjoy Mac Mills. We haven't been up their in a couple of years. Watch out for the black flies.

That might have been us, we were the Castle Grey one (tan and black) there was another one there also. Plus on Saturday we parked beside one in the parking lot of KD before going into the campground later.

How is KD's campground? We're booked for the weekend of June 19th and are thinking of heading there more often than Jellystone in Luray (Prices went way up there, with not much water fun for the kiddo).

Nice campground, maybe a little over priced but the convenience of it being right next to the park and free shuttle ride back and forth makes up for it. We end up saving a lot of $ by staying there since you don't have to pay for parking and we usually come back to the motorhome to eat lunch and dinner. If you do not get a premium spot, make sure you request an even number spot. If you're an odd number, your water and power hook up is on the opposite side so you'll need an extra long hose and a extension for your power cable. The paved (premium) ones are normal.
