mounting

Do you have it "placed" on the dash, or is it attached to the windshield somehow ?

I am looking at the Garmin, and they are all attached with a mounting ball that attaches to the window above the camera.

I guess they designed the attachment mechanism for cars, so I am not sure how I would mount the camera in my Berk.

Thanks

I have the APEMAN C420..... Cheap, good video. Incomplete manual, somewhat unintuitive and very little info on web....

(The other black box is a GPS receiver that blue tooths to an ipad.)

So in the original post the video showed "processing" for 12 hours.... Can't edit the post.... I think it may be too large.... Here's some stills.... The whole sequence is about 3 seconds.... Much more dramatic in the video....

I see

The garmin would easily mount in the same way as you have set up.

Thanks

The Berk's off roading capabilities are quite good. Oh, had a 5000# tandem axle trailer behind me.

Try down-rezing (lowering the video's resolution)...that should make it work.

If you are shooting the video at hi-def or even 4K, that is probably overkill for what you need the dash cam for.

Plus, that will eat up a bunch of memory card space.
