So in the original post the video showed "processing" for 12 hours.... Can't edit the post.... I think it may be too large.... Here's some stills.... The whole sequence is about 3 seconds.... Much more dramatic in the video....

Try down-rezing (lowering the video's resolution)...that should make it work.
If you are shooting the video at hi-def or even 4K, that is probably overkill for what you need the dash cam for.
Plus, that will eat up a bunch of memory card space.
I had to bring it up as it won't angle down far enough due the flat windscreen, but I don't want it in the middle of the thing either. Up top there's the sun tinting....Ironically there's really no good place to put it.

After a very close call in Pennsylvania last year, I got a dash camera and installed it in TV. If the truck is running, the camera is on.
I am pretty sure that the close call was an attempt at insurance fraud. The other driver changed lanes right in front of me and slammed on the brakes. He had no working brake lights, and the car looked like it was the loser in a demolition derby. There were 4 occupants and one of the back seat passengers was watching me almost hit them.
Luckily, they were so close to me when they changed lanes that I hit the brakes HARD before they hit theirs. I could not see most of their car over the hood of my F150 when I came to a stop, just the roof. They did a fast u-turn and took off, almost getting hit by an oncoming car.
I am also getting a another dash cam to put in the back window of my TT just in case.
