Inside stairway step tread replacment needed

I have 2 steps inside the entrance door. The front vertical section of the rubber tread on one step is falling off. I need to replace it. Has anyone been down this 'road'? The best place I've found so far is Home Depot with a replacement part that I like. But I'm cheap, I would have to buy 2 pieces and that's $50! (If I'm going to replace one, I would like the other step to match) Yes I know, if its for an RV it is going to be high priced, BUT....
Thanks

I bought aluminum stair corners (edge), very close to color, easy to install, and yes, $50. I did it myself, most difficult part was removing the old material, cutting a straight line. I did drill and add 2 painted nails, on the horizontal side, and all's well after 2 years.
