Insurance recommendations

Hello all. I am currently shopping for insurance for the 2013 Berk we will most likely be taking delivery of next week (if everything works out). I know the insurance is higher on these things than what I am used to with my truck and fifth wheel and I only have two quotes right now (Progressive and AARP). Any recommendations from the experts? -Glenn

Stay AWAY from Progressive. Terrible with claims.

In addition to insurance you'll want to look at roadside assistance. I recommend Coach Net.

I use Blue Sky. They're reasonable (comparatively) & they have a vanishing deductible & replacement options. The best advice I can give is shop around.

Thanks Paul. I already have Good Sam Roadside (3 year plan with 2 left on it). I might try Coachnet after that. I have only used them once in the last 4 years and it worked out well then. -Glenn

As he said based in claims. I would never deal with progressive ins. They treated me so poorly. I will not get into specifics about the company but based in my experience they are a very dishonest company. I am a very reasonable person and I did not go into the discussion with PI with any kind of attitude. I was shocked at how they talked to me and the way I was treated. This is on both sides as a customer and as someone that one of there customers ran into. Never again will I deal with that company. Did I say never?

We use GS and the carrier is National General. We have had them for two years now and have nothing to base an opinion on as we haven't had any claims. The price is competitive and so far we are happy.
