Think of a warranty more like an insurance company. They aren't there to help you out. They're there to make money. I wouldn't even repair it if you can just get a new one much cheaper. In most cases you are well ahead skipping the "insurance" policy as far as warranty goes because most issues crop up in the first year or two anyway. That's just MHO based on my own personal experience. I once watched the lady in front of me think about a $1 warranty on her $10 calculator at the checkout line at Office Depot.

Not knowing what is wrong with it..... it's hard for us to really know if it's the warranty company, the parts are just sky high, or if the one doing the warranty work is high.

Does the warranty company have a provider that will repair the fridge for their estimate? I had that experience. Also, do they cut the check to you or the shop? I see new 4 door models cost between $3000 and $3700. Maybe they can suggest a repair facility that will be bound by the estimate.
Good luck

Of course they dont know who will fix it for that amount. i called 2 other dealers snd neither would touch that price. I have filed a report with the BBB, but that wont really help...uggggg!
I understand now. I think your doing the right thing by contacting the BBB. People need to be aware of the scam. It might also be worth it to file a claim in small claims court. Companies like this do not garner too much sympathy with the judge.
